In the virtual setting, students/participants will be educated on how to respond accordingly to real life emergencies involving adults. Proper techniques for administering CPR and AED treatments are covered in detail during this course. Knowledge on whether a victim needs AED treatments or not based on if the victim has chest pain (angina) or if the patient is unresponsive. Participants will also learn to determine if the victim needs CPR and AED treatment or if the victims does not need to be shocked since they are having a angina with a heart attack (myocardial infarction). Participants will gain the knowledge to identify the signs and symptoms, such as chest pain (angina) to identify if the adult is having a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or if the patient is in cardiac arrest. Participants will also be provided with education in which the proper steps that need to be taken in order to save a choking adult. This CPR and AED training course issues a AED CPR online certification of completion that is not recognized by OSHA.Allow approximately 1 hour to complete the CPR AED Adult Online Course Video. This particular Adult CPR AED Online Certification Course Voucher offered to you by The CPR Doc does not meet OSHA requirements for the workplace. Please keep in mind that this course if for educational purposes and in order to ascertain an OSHA certification for Adult CPR and AED CPR for the workplace student/participant must attend either a blended learning course or an in person course. These courses will assess the students/participants skill set.

In contrast to blended learning and in person classes, online only courses are intended for acquiring knowledge and are for educational purposes only. Does the Adult CPR and AED Online Course video meet OSHA standards? No. This online CPR class is for educational purposes only and issues a CPR AED online certification of completion that does not meet OSHA standards. In order to receive OSHA certification the participant would have to enroll in and complete either an in person course or a blended learning course.

After purchase the Non-OSHA CPR and AED voucher, how much time to I have to complete the class before the voucher expires? For all Non-OSHA classes, the courses start on the 1st of every month and end on the last day of every month at 12:00 am (midnight) EST (Eastern Standard Time). With this in mind, it is important to complete your course vouchers soon after purchase. As a general rule, with Non-OSHA certification issuing classes (excluding Babysitting Basics Online), students/participants will have 1 month to complete the online videos before the class ends and the student/participant will not be able to complete the course. Since each individual learns differently, if you feel that you will be unable to complete the course in the 1 month time frame, please feel free to request an individual voucher. Requesting an individual voucher gives more wiggle room and the end date can be extended easier than a class that has multiple participants.

In addition, a PC or Tablet with a High-Speed Internet Connection is needed. Interestingly, Smartphones and Internet Explorer are not supported for the Adult CPR and AED video course.
